Goisagi is a contemporary taiko ensemble from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Bringing to the stage over 30 years combined percussion experience, Goisagi adds a new flavor to traditional taiko music. Current performing members are Sean Ibanez, Kena Sosa, Jay Cantu, Kris Wong, Mayuri Patel, Katie Hutton. Goisagi has brought new fans to the genre on and off stage at marathons, bars, sporting and corporate events, private parties and festivals. All of Goisagi’s material is originally composed and bursts with choreographed visuals and dynamic solos, guaranteeing a unique percussion experience. Members Sean Ibanez and Kena Sosa are endorsed Creative Percussion Artists. Coming soon in April 2022, Goisagi will release its first EP, bursting with sound and imagery called Alight.
