Damilola Afolabi (born April 10, 1993), known professionally as L.A.X is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and recording artist creating a variety of sounds that sees him fusing Afrobeats, Afropop, fuji, and most recently the South African born sound Amapiano.

Throughout his musical career so far, the 27-year-old singer & songwriter has worked with Wizkid, Simi, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Maleek Berry, Moelogo, and more.

Under his independent label Rasaki Music, L.A.X has been churning out a mixture of club bangers and serenades since 2016 including PEPE ft Davido, “Fine Boy”, “Morenike”, “Gimme Dat”, Gwara Gwara” and most recently, chart-topping collaborations on his singles “Run Away” with Wande Coal and “Gobe” ft 2Baba amongst others which he followed with his sophomore album “Zaza Vibes'' currently on 145M+ across board bosting of hit tunes like ‘Go Low’ & ‘Sempe’. L.A.X is about set with a new single 'Options' featuring 2021 breakout star Ayra Starr, a perfect blend just in time for Valentines.
