Nohe & Sus Santos
Nohe & Sus Santos is a 5-piece band mixing Spanish & English vocals with the musical traditions, rhythms & sounds of the Americas, incorporating Alt-Rock en Espanol, Cumbia & Pop grooves. On stage they deliver a Latinx vibe full of soul, passion & a good dose of attitude, leaving dancing crowds chanting “una más!”. RootsWorld enthused “Behold a conjunto with enormous potential. Eloquent”.
Featuring musicians from Honduras and the US, Nohe & Sus Santos create songs that do much more than simply cross language and cultural borders. The band explores the multicultural experience of the Latinx generation, delivering positive messages of self-identification and respect for their heritage.
Fronted by celebrated Honduran vocalist Nohelia Sosa, the band is rounded out by the string wizardry of Randy Sanchez (guitars, tres), Omar Prado, the band’s pulse, on bass, Dennis Jasso holding it down the impeccable groove on drums & Jesse Parker adding magic on congas & percussion.
Currently Nohe & Sus Santos are working on new material for their second CD (including penning some material with multi-Grammy winner Raul Pacheco of Ozomatli) and gearing up to get back out on the road.
