Date TBA

redveil, born Marcus Morton, is a 17-year-old American rapper, songwriter, and producer from Prince George’s County, Maryland. His first foray releasing his music independently, his first project Niagara, created major buzz on the internet and earned him a devoted fanbase amongst underground and mainstream hip-hop fans alike, due to the infectious soul and jazz influences he pulls from to complement masterful storytelling despite his age. Adoration for his music spread quickly on the internet, eventually leading to praise from the likes of Tyler, the Creator, Jonah Hill, BROCKHAMPTON, among others. The buzz led to a series of milestone live shows, including opening for AG Club on tour, playing a show with Danny Brown in his hometown, and playing the Day N Vegas and Firefly festivals in 2021.

Breaking the 10-month silence that followed the release of Niagara, redveil returned in November 2021 single “04,” which marked a subtle but noticeable departure from the sound he first established himself with on his debut project. The sonic switch-up is a testament to veil’s openness to maturing and experimenting with his music in real time while growing up in the public eye.
