Carrie Clark (Sixteen Deluxe) and Pam Peltz (Ursa Major) formed The Living Pins in the heady 90s Austin alt rock days of yore, and many episodes later found themselves delivering 2021's much-liked Freaky Little Monster Children EP to those in need of rock.  The Onion AV Club calls the EP's 4 songs "both accessible and impossibly cool".  Now a 4-piece band with Claire Hamilton (Queue Queue, The Summer Wardrobe) on bass and Rich Malley (Horsies, Fontanelles TX) on drums, The Living Pins have a new single on the horizon and will uphold the scout promise to serve their "post-grunge guitar psychedelia and Stonesy chug" (Austin Chronicle) to all in need.
