Billy Star started off in 2020 as a trio of cousins made up of frontman Nick (vocals), Haley (guitar), and Julius (drums). In early 2021, they recorded their debut album 100% with Greg Norman, at Steve Albini’s studio in Chicago, Electrical Audio. Billy Star has had a big year, including the addition of bassist Alyssa Norman to complete the band. With a mixture of experimental rock and post punk, they've created their own unique sound. With a dozen shows between Dallas and Austin, radio play from KEXP and KXT, and festivals- Billy Star has made a strong debut in the Texas music scene.
