Low Girl at British Music Embassy @ Cedar Street Courtyard

Date TBA

Low Girl is the work of multi-instrumentalist Sarah Cosgrove and her bandmates Toby, Tom and Brad. Described by DIY Magazine as “a peppy new pop talent”, the band released debut EP ‘Big Now’ in May 2021. Support followed from BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radio and Radio X, with the title track playlisted on BBC 6Music, as well as strong support from DIY, The Line of Best Fit and Spotify. Low Girl’s sophomore EP is due in February 2022, with the lead single ‘So Cool’ offering another irresistible piece of alt-pop from the Hemel-Hempstead based newcomer.

The lyrics of the single find Low Girl continuing the themes found across her debut EP, feelings of loneliness, self-worth, mental health and the constant trials and struggles of finding one’s identity growing up.

In May 2021, the band sold out a four date debut tour, culminating in a show at The Lexington, London. Support slots with Dream Wife and The Murder Capital have followed, as well as performing at Wild Paths and Reading & Leeds Festival for the BBC in summer. In 2022, Low Girl head out as tour support for Pom Poko during IVW, as well as a headline tour in March on their return from SXSW.
