Based in Chengdu, Sichuan, two indie musicians LI Jing (keyboardist of Moxi Zishi), and WANG Xiao Xue (former guitarist of Big Wave) established the indie/electronic/rock band FAKE GENTLE. The two used to create another band, Ms. Hormone prior to Fake Gentle.

Fake Gentle’s music style is fused with classical music, pop music, and contemporary electronic music. With distinctive musicality and fierce expressivity, Fake Gentle chisels their own female perspectives, while hymning independence, gender equality, liberty, and liberation of a self.

In 2020, Fake Gentle released their new album “Whose World”, focusing on building a new image of the future females, and the album has received critical acclaims.
