LAUNDRY DAY at Stubb's Inside
It’s always said that New York City kids grow up fast, and the members of LAUNDRY DAY–Sawyer Nunes, Jude Ciulla, Etai Abramovich, Henry Weingartner, and Henry “HP” Pearl–have been through more in their musical career than most experience in a decade. Since forming in 2018 they’ve played a slew of sold out shows and independently put out three well-regarded studio albums. Now, they’re releasing their major label debut, We Switched Bodies, a wide-ranging record that blends the group’s diverse musical interests–’60s psych rock mingles with quick twitch electronic beats and expert production polish by co-producers Kevin Abstract and Romil Hemnani of BROCKHAMPTON and veteran rock producer Brendan O’Brien, whose long list of credits includes Pearl Jam, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The record is a fitting memento of this time in the quintet’s creative and personal lives, because just as their high school graduation signals a move to bigger and better things, We Switched Bodies pushes the best qualities of LAUNDRY DAY to new, exciting places. With their strongest body of work coming out soon and their creative spark rekindled, the future is bright for the brotherhood of LAUNDRY DAY.
