OHYUNG is an Asian American experimental musician and film composer based in Brooklyn. Their first three albums, Untitled (Chinese Man with Flame), PROTECTOR, and GODLESS are a cross-genre collision course through distorted 808s, pitch-shifted rapping, frenetic pop energy, and noise. Their upcoming record is coming out on NNA Tapes and is titled "imagine naked!"-- an immersive and mesmerizing ambient album focusing on expansion and atmospheric depth. It is a collection of loving ambient expressions of persistence, repetition, and variation.

As a film composer, they have written music for dozens of feature and short films premiering at Sundance, SXSW, Los Angeles Film Festival, Curaçao IFFR, BAMCinématek, as well as exhibitions and art projects featured in the Queens Museum and BAM Next Wave Festival. They are the recipient of the 2017-2018 Van Lier Fellowship for Music Composition, and were a 2021 Pioneer Works Music Resident.
