Lavender Thug is an El Paso based artist and entertainer. From Hosting, Performing and Djing to Organizing shows throughout the city, Lavender covers it all. Starting in 2017, she began to explore making music and performing at local shows. In 2019, she decided to beginning doing drag. This fusion of the drag and music scenes is what ultimately lead to the creation of "The HOUSE". The cities first all queer Monthly Party showcasing art, bands, rappers, djs, a drag show, and a Mini Ball with cash prizes and trophies. This ran for a year coming to a close as the pandemic hit, but is what put Lavender in the local arena as someone to watch. She now DJ's and Performs in El Paso, Austin and New Mexico, and is in the Austin kiki house, House of Lepore. Come out to the Bushwig Showcase at SXSW for the time of your life!
