KAZKA, Ukrainian for "fairy tale", is a Ukrainian experimental pop band mixing electronic rhythms and Ukrainian folk themes to create new Ukrainian music.
Vocalist Oleksandra Zaritska, multi-instrumentalist Mykyta Budash, and wind instrumentalist Dmytro Mazuriak have become a sensation in a dozen countries, Top 10 Global SHAZAM, and top Ukrainian artists.
Performing on Ukrainian television "X- Factor" in 2017 they touched audiences with creative and emotional performances. Then in 2018 with the release of their first album "Karma" and first solo show in Kyiv, they caught fire. Their song "Plakala" received over 400 million views on YouTube and made it to the Top 100 videos in the world.
KAZKA collaborates with Ukrainian and international artists and champions "not to be afraid to be different", encouraging acceptance and tolerance. Oleksandra launched an anti-bullying campaign with the song and hashtag #BeautifulAtHeart and participates in many popular TV shows to promote this goal.
The band is creating a multimedia world with an animation series, children's books, and VR game, and will soon launch a NFT project.
Showcasing at SXSW opens their new tour of major US cities.
