Mojo Nixon & The Toadliquors at Continental Club

Date TBA

Mojo Nixon performed at the first SXSW (we think?). Mojo Nixon did the Invocation Speech at the third SXSW in 1989 with the main message of "Fuck You because 'fear' is the real 'F' word". Mojo Nixon and Jello Biafra did their only gig in support of their country album at SXSW. Mojo and SXSW are siblings that see each other once a year, have a good time, display their dysfunction, drink too much, yell at each other and then can't wait until they get to see each other next year. Mojo Nixon & The Toadliquors are a Rock Band but different. Mojo Nixon has not performed an official SXSW showcase for many, many years now. No one actually remembers when the last official showcase was. But the Mojo Manifesto documentary is getting released and it is time for Mojo Nixon and The Toadliquors to bring their megahits (Elvis is Everywhere, Debbie Gibson is Pregnant, Don Henley Must Die, Burn Down The Malls, Tie My Pecker to My Leg) back to SXSW. The band are top professionals at the top of their game. See the movie, see the band, lick the toad.
