MARIA TOLEDO is is a key figure in the contemporary Flamenco. She is the first woman in history who can sing Flamenco and play the piano at the same time.
With 6 released albums and 5 nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards, nobody will remain indifferent to Maria Toledo and her atypical image. On a stage, it is shown a voice that nobody could have imagined and her hands on the piano cover the difficulty of the particular and offer all the Flamenco hidden in this musical instrument which only Maria, and her voice, can convey.
Having a degree in Law and being graduated by the Conservatory of Music, she finally left the lawyer's office to devote herself to music, her reason for living.
She has performed Falla’s El Amor Brujo at the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Barbican in London, the National Music Auditorium in Madrid, the Philharmonic of Paris, Glasgow City Halls in Glasgow, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh, Royal Theatre in Turin and Florence Opera.
Her six albums have been: 'María Toledo' (2009), 'Uñas Rojas' (2012), 'conSentido' (2015), 'Magnética' (2016) and ´Corazonada´ (2019) and ´Ranchera Flamenca´(2021).
