GIFT is the budding recording project of artist and multi-instrumentalist TJ Freda, joined by Jessica Gurewitz, Kallan Campbell, Justin Hrabovsky, and Cooper Naess. Born in Boston and matured in Brooklyn NY, GIFT’s lysergic cocktail brings bright impressions of NEU! and Stereolab. Started in January 2020, GIFT quickly became one of Brooklyn's favorite psych outfits with their kaleidoscopic live shows. Blending heavy pop sensibilities with psych filled improvisational jams. The name GIFT stems from sharing the present, being in the moment.

GIFT released their well received debut single “Strange” a week before a global pandemic, a serendipitous event given the themes of the song: finding the light in times of darkness. GIFT’s work has continued in Freda's home studio with a debut album slated for release in 2022.
