Vacio Sur is a DJ and producer born and raised in Houston, TX, home to his biggest inspiration DJ Screw. Just like the music legend, Vacio Sur's style reflects on millennial life experiences in Southeast Houston and his expansive music obsession. His DJ sets range from highly energetic Reggaeton/Neoperreo to mixing ambient music with Houston Rap and slowed-down Cumbias. In 2019, he began to perform sets in small clubs, opening for Electronic artists like Jasmine Infiniti, Private Service, and SHYBOI. His first DJ mixes were featured in JEROME and Haunting Vision.

Now living in Austin, Vacio Sur has quickly established himself in the DJ scene, from playing Perreo Nights in Cuatro Gato, Neon Grotto, and Coconut Club to performing with Nite School at Cheer Up Charlie's. He's looking to incorporate more of his influences in Austin clubs soon, including Chopped & Screwed, Synthpop, and Baile Funk events. In 2021, he made his production debut, releasing the title track "Anarkx" on the Argentina-based Electronic Record Label Santa Sede.
