Nailah Blackman
Nailah Blackman, the Trinidad & Tobago songstress, has positioned herself as a Caribbean leader through her music, style, and charisma and has sung her way into people’s hearts throughout the world in a short five years. Born into a musical family, the granddaughter of the legendary Ras Shorty I, creator of Soca music, Nailah writes, composes and is a multi-instrumentalist.
In 2017 Nailah made her debut with the release of hit song, ‘Work Out’ a collaboration with Kes the Band. Since then, Nailah has been nominated for the Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act award at the BET Awards, presented with a Cultural Ambassador Award from the New York Senate, performed at Coachella and was featured in the Coachella Curated series.
