The 40 Acre Mule

The 40 Acre Mule's sound has been called "a riot in the streets" but they just call it "Third Coast Rock & Roll"! Opening for J.D. McPherson, Old 97's and Charley Crockett, just to name a few, the band has been spreading their roots rock sound across the U.S. since 2015. Formed in Dallas, TX by J. Isaiah Evans (vocals/guitar), the band released their debut album, Goodnight & Good Luck (State Fair Records), to critical acclaim in 2019. John Pedigo (guitar/backing vocals), Tim Cooper (bass/backing vocals), Robert Anderson (drums) and Chris Evetts (baritone sax) round out the quintets sweat drenched brand of vintage rhythm and blues with nods to rockabilly, soul and Americana. Up next is a West Coast tour with The Delta Bombers followed by several festival dates this summer and the release of their sophomore album in fall, 2022.
