Taiga, a band based in Chengdu, Sichuan, consists of 2 members, one from Xinjiang, one from Mongolia. Inspired by traditional performing techniques and modern music theories, they manage to synthesize and create their own genre – psychotic/nomadic music.

First established in 2014, Taiga used to look for the soul of nomadic music while playing the instruments such as Morin khuur, bass drum, Doshpuluur, and also Tuvan throat singing. After immersing themselves in the nomadic music scene as well as expressions and vocabularies of modern music, their musical style underwent a tremendous change.
