Tuyo “share lead and harmony vocals in songs that laced pealing indie-rock with electronics and undercurrents of Brazilian syncopation, earnest yet always graceful”, said Jon Pareles after watching the band playing at SXSW Online and listed the band as one of the 15 Best Acts of the last edition. Tuyo is today one of the most exciting new acts from a young and creative black artists scene that brings together very pop chorus and melody with beats and riffs. After a very prolific pandemic time releasing two new albums, remixes and many collaborations, the band is ready to get back to the road. With great visuals and strong live performance, the band have already featured festivals all around Brazil and in 2018 played also at Colours Of Ostrava Festival (CZ). In 2021 the band was invited for the international YouTube Foundry together with artists from around the World and also took part of the compilation Dance (RED) Save Lives III, alongside artists like Fela Kuti, Becky G, Sofi Tukker and Felix da Housecat. Finally, in Austin we are ready to connect with partners that want to build bridges with Brazil and work together for the next international tour.
