Teenage Halloween
Since their start in 2014, power pop group Teenage Halloween have nurtured DIY roots in the New Jersey punk scene. Originally from Asbury Park, the band has booked local basement shows to full-blown festivals, touring the South, East, and Midwest and playing alongside bands such as Charly Bliss, Nana Grizol, AJJ, HIRS, Team Dresch, and others. Teenage Halloween is a predominantly queer identifying band, mingling with sounds like Dear Nora, Screaming Females, Laura Stevenson, Jeff Rosenstock, and more. Their debut EP Eternal Roast was released in 2017 by Philadelphia label Get Better Records.
Teenage Halloween was founded by Luk Henderiks(lead vocals/guitar) and Brandon Hakim(sax) and had operated on a rotating cast of members. Over the past few years a solid lineup was established including Eli Frank(lead guitar), Jane Lai(keyboard), Tricia Marshall(bass/backing vocals), and Peter Gargano(drums).
