PYNKIE is the musical project of Lindsey Rae Radice, a singer/songwriter & registered nurse by day from New Jersey. Radice started making songs in college when her friend showed her the free recording software "Audacity" and lent her a Blue Snowball usb microphone. This hobby eventually led to the creation of her two studio albums, "neoteny" (2018) & "#37" (2020) as well as various singles. Pulling inspiration from cartoon theme songs, lo-fi demo tapes, golden oldies, and melancholy alternative from the 90s and early aughts, PYNKIE combines catchy vocal melodies with melodic guitar and synth soundscapes. PYNKIE's music has evoked critical acclaim from numerous music blogs (i.e. Gorilla Vs. Bear, Chillwave Kittens, Line of Best Fit, NYLON, Hype Machine, and more). Many of her songs have also been featured on multiple YouTube tastemaker channels and well-known streaming site playlists. PYNKIE is also known for her intimate live performances which showcase her strong vocals and lively personality. She is currently accompanied by John Messina on keys/synth, Josh Bartsch on drums, and Alex Heitzenrater on bass. New releases can be expected in the near future; stay tuned.
