Sen Ron Wyden

Oregon Senator Ron Wyden was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1996 in a special election and currently serves as the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Wyden is a fierce advocate for small businesses and local farmers, especially when it comes to hemp. He was the first senator to introduce legislation to legalize the production of industrial hemp, securing the provisions in the 2018 Farm Bill to end federal prohibition.
