Emma V. O’Brian is the head of product strategy for Bloomberg News with a focus on the terminal audience. She sits at the intersection of editorial, product and sales and plays a leading role in developing strategy and overseeing projects for newsroom technology and the future of news. Previously, O'Brian was chief of staff for breaking news and markets at Bloomberg, responsible for creating, overseeing and executing global business plan priorities. A third generation journalist, O’Brian has held strategic roles across editorial, communications and operations on all platforms from cable news and radio to magazines and print/web. She received her MBA from George Washington University and her BA from Kenyon College.
