The Spine of Night
Our epic tale begins with an ambitious young man stealing forbidden knowledge from a sacred plant. He falls to its darker temptations and unleashes ages of suffering onto mankind. As his power grows over the years, it falls to people from different eras and cultures to stand against him. Among them are star-crossed lovers, a daring tomb-robber, a maniacal necromancer, winged assassins, and an undying guardian.
The Spine of Night is an ultra-violent fantasy inspired by the cult classic works of artists like Ralph Bakshi and Frank Frazetta, and the fantasy genre as it was in the 1970s: boundary-pushing, politically progressive, and utterly fearless.
