Morgan Yardley is a disarmingly contented young gal who works as an exterminator of large grade rodents. She enjoys her small, unglamorous life, unfazed by those around her who society might deem more impressive, like the old high school acquaintance she runs into on a house call, who is now a world famous Lady Gaga-esque pop star. But one day, Morgan gets a call that her dad is in the hospital, probably dying. When she arrives, she encounters another woman who goes by the same name. Turns out Morgan's father has a secret, and when she learns the truth, it sends her into an existential tailspin that makes her question the contentment she has with her very ordinary life.
