Ben Boeser
Ben leads Innovation Management, Silicon Valley at Mercedes-Benz R&D North America. His department is embedded in R&D with the mission to accelerate Mercedes-Benz in creating value with partners in North America. The diverse group of market analysts, engineers and product managers bring new technologies into the next generation of Mercedes-Benz products. The group actively identifies future market needs for US customers and pioneers future technologies such as Quantum Computing, AI accelerators, next-gen SoCs and digital solutions. They drive growth and market adoption by driving new strategic partnerships. The group has developed applications and platform architectures for the infotainment system, MBUX which entered production series in 2018.
Ben has been featured in online media outlets such as WSJ and Fortune sharing insights on future trend topic, Quantum Computing and its applicability for battery research. As well as KQED radio discussing the future of automotive engineering in Silicon Valley.
Prior to Mercedes-Benz, Ben led product and innovation groups at the enterprise software leader SAP, leading teams both in the US and in Brisbane, Australia that developed successful machine learning and blockchain SaaS solutions.
