Greg Reed is Vice President of Technology Partnerships at Universal Pictures. In this role, he develops and manages strategic partnerships with emerging technology companies that contribute to Universal’s current success and future growth opportunities. Reed is responsible for harnessing the newest technology trends and fostering innovation at the studio, amplifying opportunities by partnering with internal groups across Universal Filmed Entertainment Group’s portfolio, Fandango and Comcast NBCUniversal.
Prior to joining Universal Pictures in 2016, Reed was the founding CTO of theAudience, a leading social media company that pioneered social influencer marketing, backed by WME & Sean Parker that launched in 2010. Under his leadership, the group developed theAudience's proprietary social media management platform and applications for A list celebrities and entertainment brands such as Universal, Spotify, MySpace, Fandango and others.
A native of the United Kingdom, Reed currently resides in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc in Computer Science.
