My background is in digital libraries. I hold a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) with a research focus in curating content and data to optimize for information access & retrieval.

At Instacart, some of my favourite projects have been: creating a produce database, designing our content API, starting up new teams and scaling them, building our alcohol compliance server, and more recently introducing weight data to the Catalog so that we can pay shoppers for heavy orders.

Day to day, I tend to obsess over the data that our customers want or need to create the best possible experience when ordering groceries online.
