As VP of Media at the Ad Council, Laurie works in the unique intersection of advertising, media/technology, and social good. She is responsible for building and managing relationships with major media, tech and entertainment companies and uses their platforms to develop large-scale, innovative social-impact campaigns. Her partners use their platforms to raise awareness of Ad Council’s 40+ social causes. Laurie’s account responsibilities include Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and Zynga. She also works closely with VC firms such as Andreessen Horowitz and Alsop Louie & Partners to prospect emerging media and tech companies for the Ad Council to engage with. Laurie has secured and developed innovative opportunities for Ad Council, including the Apple emoji integration for Bullying Prevention; Ad Council's first foray into VR with a partnership with Oculus For Good and building Ad Council's first Amazon Alexa skill to reduce food waste.
