Thom Beers
Renowned producer, television executive, and narrator who created through his company, Original Productions, a reality-tv empire spanning more than 60 series including Storage Wars, Deadliest Catch, 1,000 Ways to Die, Ax Men, Ice Road Truckers and Monster Garage. Most recently, Beers co-founded BoBCat, a multi-platform production company with partners Jeff Conroy and Sarah Bernard.
Prior to BoBCat, Beers was CEO of FremantleMedia North America, where he was responsible for the overall performance of the company and its prodco portfolio, including 495 Productions and Original Productions, which he had sold to FremantleMedia in 2009.
Beers founded Original Productions after 11 years as a production executive and producer for Turner Broadcasting where he oversaw the award winning National Geographic Explorer, Network Earth, The Jacques Cousteau specials and Wild!Life Adventures. For his work, Beers has been awarded multiple Emmys, PGA Awards, Factual Entertainment Awards, Cable ACE, and IDAs, among others.
