Sheri Sobrato Brisson

Sheri Sobrato Brisson was faced with a six-month prognosis following being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in her early 20’s. Sheri’s passionate about helping others discover their inner strength through challenging medical conditions. She is Founder of the Digging Deep Project and the multiple award-winning Shadow’s Edge, the first free mobile game to build resilience in teens with chronic & serious illnesses; and Co-author of Digging Deep: A Journal for Young People Facing Health Challenges, winner of five gold medals for children’s books. Sheri has been a dedicated Board Member and volunteer for many San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit children’s health organizations and spent over twenty years as a facilitator of support groups for pediatric patients and their families. She is a Founding Trustee of Sobrato Family Foundation and Co-Founder of Resonance Philanthropies. Sheri has an MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and BA from Stanford University.
