Debbie Pepin

Three parents that Debbie had responsibility for all died in 2017. None of them were willing to talk about their goals, wishes, plans and hopes for their end of life years. Her career had been as a public school superintendent, high school principal, high school special education teacher, creator of a K-12 non-profit model school located within a Fortune 500 company, and an independent consultant on education reform. While handling her consulting business she was also CFO of the architectural millwork company that she owned with her husband. She was a guess on CNN and CNN Financial Network. Debbie has a 6th year (Certificate of Advance Graduate Study in Education Administration), an M.Ed. in Education Psychology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. Debbie says that trying to read the minds of the three parents she loved and not knowing if she was doing things right was the hardest job she ever had.
