Rita Sanders
Rita K. Sanders began her career by editing television news at KVUE on tape-to-tape machines and has since cut feature films, documentaries, scripted and non-scripted television shows.
Most recently, Rita edited on several season of SyFy's "The Magicians", Netflix's "You" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," and currently CW's "Batwoman"- which has been a dream come true for a nerd who loves fantasy, sci-fi and feminist agendas in media.
In 2009 the feature documentary "The Horse Boy" premiered at the Sundance and won the Feature Film Audience Award for the Lone Star States at SXSW, eventually playing in theaters and on television around the world. Variety called the film "expertly edited" - an opinion with which Rita does not disagree.
Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
