Mike Beale

Mike Beale is Managing Director of Nordic production and Global Creative Network within ITV Studios, one of the world’s leading international TV production, distribution and consumer products businesses. Part of ITV plc, which also operates the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster. The business distributes 40,000 hours of prestigious content to 3000 broadcasters around the world and had production entities in the US, Australia, Germany, France and the Nordics.

Mike joined ITV Studios in June 2011 and manages the Nordic businesses in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland and oversees International development, production and commercialisation of ITV Studios Formats. He looks after the company’s slate of new and established formats, including, The Chase, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Hell’s Kitchen, Come Dine With Me and new reality hit, Love Island.

Mike has extensive experience working at a range of broadcasters and production companies. Prior to working at ITV, his most recent role was for NBC Universal where he was Vice President of International Production, looking after global production of shows such as Minute to Win it and Real Housewives.

His earlier career began in television production where he worked at a range of companies including Planet 24, LWT, Bunim Murray, Hat Trick, the BBC and was one of the founders of 12 Yard Productions in the UK.
