Dmitry Shishkin

Dmitry is currently Chief Content officer for Culture Trip. He enjoys working on the intersection of creative and tech and cares deeply about what innovation and storytelling could do together to inspire people around the world. He is joining from the BBC World Service, where he works as Digital Development Editor for 41 foreign language news teams. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Dmitry has worked in various senior editorial development roles for the digital part of BBC News. Over the course of his career he’s worked in radio, video and digital outputs. His digital expertise is in international markets, on the intersection of editorial, product and innovation areas. His particular strength is in leading teams, developing new ways of reaching audiences, increasing content engagement across the world and driving digital culture change in newsrooms. His passions in life are reading, cooking and traveling.
