Pierre-Alexandre Fournier
Pierre-Alexandre Fournier is co-founder and CEO of Hexoskin, a Montreal-based company focused on clinical-grade wearable sensors and AI software for health and clinical research.
Hexoskin was founded in 2006 and launched in 2013 the first iPhone compatible smart shirt for health monitoring, which won several international awards. Hexoskin works with sports organizations like FC Barcelona, Olympic and NCAA teams, and Cirque du Soleil to collect physiological data to improve training programs and performance.
Hexoskin also supports medical research, rare disease research, and first responders training programs with technology that provides a new window into human health. Hexoskin collaborates with space agencies since 2011 to improve their space medicine capabilities, and in 2018 launched a remote health monitoring system for astronauts to the International Space Station with SpaceX mission CRS-16.
Pierre-Alexandre is also an advocate for transparency in healthcare, patient empowerment, and healthcare innovation through design.
