Ryan Miller

Ryan graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2005, commissioning as an Infantry officer. In 2007, while patrolling Southern Baghdad, his vehicle was hit by a particularly devastating type of roadside bomb and he suffered significant internal injuries and ultimately the loss of his lower left leg. Ryan persevered in recovery, and in 2014 earned both an MBA and a Masters of Public Policy from Harvard. He has since launched hardware, technology, and manufacturing start-ups in the San Francisco Bay Area. After meeting numerous veterans whose lives were saved by cannabis, he got involved in the industry and took OMG Farms from licensing through acquisition. He also fights for cannabis access through local, state and federal advocacy and speaking engagements. Ryan proudly serves on the board of Warrior Rising, a 501.c.3 dedicated to promoting veteran entrepreneurship, as well as the Veterans Cannabis Project, who fight for cannabis access as a veteran’s healthcare issue.
