Meghan Boots

Meghan has built a career that spans 20 years as a marketer and business strategist in tech in Silicon Valley for Fortune 500 companies. In 2013 after a distressing experience with bias and discrimination, Meghan began to educate herself about women’s rights issues and understanding how workplaces can better support caregivers. At that time her work was published in VentureBeat about the need for tech companies to become more inclusive. Her diversity and inclusion knowledge and passion increased and continues today as she is a consultant for the Diversity Advocates community of practice for the Kapor Center in Oakland, California. She also facilitates discussions in the Bay Area about belonging, and she is a consultant working with Silicon Valley tech company product teams where she infuses her diversity knowledge into product decisions and marketing.

Meghan has volunteered for Bay Area organizations that are working to level the playing field like Techtonica and Girls Who Code.
