Kristen Sanger

With over a decade of experience as a creative professional, Kristen heads up the Contributor Marketing team for Shutterstock, leading a worldwide network of photographers and videographers. One of her primary goals is to help Shutterstock’s over 900,000 contributors create diverse and localized content for global customers. Her current mission is to challenge contributors to create authentic, realistic and genuine content that turns the often-labelled, “staid,” concept of stock photography on its head. As employee No.5 for the former startup Flashstock (acquired by Shutterstock in 2017), Kristen knows what it takes to stand out and grow a brand from zero to hero in a short space of time. She also brings her background as a photographer to her role, which helps her apply her creativity to her work and dare to think differently.
