Telly Wong
Telly has 20 years of award-winning experience in creating innovative campaigns targeting the next generation of Asian American consumers. Disruptive, transformative and anything-but- traditional, his work is defined by a mission to subvert expectations and defy stereotypes about who Asian Americans are and what Asian American marketing can be.
Some of his notable work includes developing the Asian American marketing strategy for ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ and creating programs for McDonald's, which include breakdance tournaments and early morning raves. His campaigns have been recognized by leading industry organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America, Telly Awards, PR Daily and Association of National Advertisers. In 2016, he was named PR News' Awe Professional of the Year.
Born in New York’s Chinatown and raised in Brooklyn, Telly is a graduate of NYU where he earned his BFA in Dramatic Writing with a double major in East Asian Studies.
