Cindy Gu is a music marketeer, dance music enthusiast, specializing in international music exploitation. She's passionate about adapting and creating innovative marketing strategies that are driven by music-data and new technologies. She covers the dance music promotion & marketing in SEA, Greater China & Korea as a regional marketing manager at Warner Music Asia. She spearheaded Spinnin' Records brand & channel development and new artist signings in Asia, especially in China. Previously she worked in the international & business affairs teams at Ultra Records in their New York office. Throughout her years at NYU Music Business program, she conducted dance music market research projects in New York and Paris, and interned at top labels & agencies. She recently moved to Singapore from Hong Kong to further develop her understanding of South East Asia markets and pursue her passion in discovering and breaking Asian acts internationally.
