Lauren Miller
Status-Quo-Phobe | Experience Obsessed | Endlessly Curious
After 13+ years as a consultant leading experience-design & transformational change projects for global clients such as Nike, BMW, FedEx, Dexcom, and Salesforce, Lauren pivoted her career from a tech-focus to a people-and-team-focus.
With broad experience in Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, Adult Learning Theory, and Experience Design, Lauren is a consultant-coach with a diverse clientele: different industries, levels, tenures, and global locations. Despite (or perhaps, because of) this diversity, Lauren is most intrigued by the similarities of our human experience in the workplace.
Currently, Lauren is a Leadership Coach and Lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and Integrated Innovation Institute. Outside of that work, Lauren is an Executive Coach to leaders at all levels and industries: from first-time managers all the way to seasoned executives. She also consults, writes, and speaks about leadership and team development.
She is passionate about the people side of change in complex organizations. Common threads in her work use inquiry, systems-thinking, and strengths-based approaches.
Lauren received her M.S. in Organizational Learning & Change at Northwestern University outside Chicago. She is a Certified Leadership and Executive Coach with Gallup's Clifton StrengthsFinder and MHS’s EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Intelligence certification).
She currently resides in Pittsburgh, enjoying cooking, gardening, bird-watching, and cursing that one bird that wakes her up at 5am every day.
