The High Cost of Perfectionism: Impostor Syndrome
The psychological, social, and emotional stigmas of failure or setbacks can be crippling. These stigmas create crushing fear, which in turn threatens positive change, innovation, & progress. Millions of people – business owners, new managers, programmers, performers, executives – secretly worry they’re not as smart or talented as other people “think” they are. These feelings of incompetence drain both employee & organizational resources. It’s called the impostor syndrome. And if left unchecked, it can derail you, your team, and your organization. Fortunately, there is a way to outsmart it and move past perfect.
In this thoughtful and refreshing session, we’ll get real about the 4 types of impostor syndrome, and learn how to shift the mindset of confidence from fear to courage.
