Barbara Brooks

Located in Denver, Colorado, at the helm of Bloom+Co Presents and its top brand, SecondActWomen, is Barbara Brooks, a 52 years-young award-winning marketing and public relations specialist hailing from corporate America turned entrepreneur. Starting her own second act in 2011 as an accidental entrepreneur, Brooks is a powerhouse community leader and public speaker with the vision and savvy inspiring women to take their career (and/or) lives off auto-pilot.

Brooks’ experience originated in the shopping center and broadcast industries – winning several awards for her work as a senior-level marketer, business development manager and publicist. Catapulting businesses to market leaders, she oversaw the marketing departments of regional and super-regional malls and downtown districts from DFW, Texas to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Leading high-level marketing projects, public relations strategies and special events, she received awards from the International Council of Shopping and others.
