A graduate of Harvard Business School, his personal experiences in the dating world inspired him to develop a platform that fosters meaningful connections. Justin founded Hinge in February 2011 with a mission to create real-life connections. A decade later, Hinge has become one of the world’s leading dating apps.

Justin's vision extends beyond just matchmaking - he is leading the charge to show how tech can be used to foster a deeper human connection, rather than create addiction and isolation. As someone who has previously struggled with addiction, he has been upset by the game mechanics most apps use to keep users scrolling alone, fueling the growing loneliness epidemic. Justin understands that it doesn’t matter what you’re addicted to, addiction is addiction and it can ruin someone’s life. Therefore, he doesn’t have social media, email, or slack on his phone. Justin's on a mission to help people meet someone great and delete their dating apps for good.
