Playing Cupid in a Modern World

Justin McLeod

The problem with today’s digital world is that the apps we use most—the ones that say they’re meant to connect us to the people around us—are often designed to keep us glued to and hiding behind our screens. When it comes to dating, this is especially ironic because love and connection only happen and grow in real life – and if singles are so busy scrolling and matching, they’re not actually connecting in person where it counts. Join two leading proponents of getting people off their phones and out into the real world for a discussion around how we can use technology in ways that support human connection instead of subvert our best intentions.
