Dr. Tanya Harrison

Dr. Tanya Harrison is the Manager of Science Programs at the federal arm of Planet Labs. She is also a "Professional Martian," having spent the last decade working in mission operations for NASA's Mars orbiters and rovers. She holds a Ph.D. in Geology with a Specialization in Planetary Science and Exploration from the University of Western Ontario, a Masters in Earth and Environmental Science from Wesleyan University, and a B.Sc. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Washington. Tanya is also an avid science communicator, having made appearances on TV, radio, and podcasts around the world.
