Annabella joined the UK’s Music Managers Forum in January 2016. MMF is the world's largest professional community of music managers with nearly 800 members based mainly in the UK with global businesses. We want a fairer more transparent music industry which operates in the interest of artists and their fans. Annabella brings a wealth of experience to the role having had a career encompassing advocacy in Brussels, commercial and public affairs with Cadbury, government communications at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Head of Public Affairs at Which? and, most recently, as Director of Policy and Research at the Design Council.
In recent years the MMF UK has published several influential publications as part of the Dissecting the Digital Dollar series with CMU including most recently the Digital Deals Guide and Transparency index accompanied by the digital music calculator www.themmf.net/digitaldollar
We were also founder members of the FanFair Alliance www.fanfairalliance.org campaigning to limit ticket touting (scalping) and have succeeded in building a industry wide coalition to change UK law and influencing Google’s global ad policy to stop consumers being misled.
