Brittan Heller
I build and grow effective organizations at the intersection of law, technology, and human rights. I advise tech companies, venture capitalist and investment firms, community organizations, and the public on the potential and the challenges of emerging areas of technology. I help my partners implement new product features, terms of service or policies, and external initiatives to harness their power for social good.
As the founder of the Center for Digital Civil Rights, I bring human and civil rights into the digital age. I have worked closely with major social media, gaming, and virtual reality companies on these issues.
As an attorney, I have prosecuted international corruption, human trafficking, and grave human rights violations for the U.S. Department of Justice and the International Criminal Court. I have built and managed programs in places like Korea, Afghanistan, and Rwanda, and gained international attention for my anti-cyberharassment advocacy.
